DITCH TOOTHPASTE from the store
Like with any other store bought products, blindly trusting that product manufacturers have the consumers’ best interests in mind is a mistake.
First of all, fluoride has been touted for years as being the best defense against tooth decay. Yet did you know it’s a byproduct of aluminum production? It can also be found in rat poison and pesticides. This is concerning especially for children who notoriously swallow toothpaste.
Triclosan is one of the number on ingredients to look for on your label. The FDA recently banned Triclosan from hand sanitizers, yet it is still found in Colgate Total toothpaste, among others. Triclosan is know to be a hormone disruptor an disrupts the endocrine system.
Artificial sweeteners. I am always particularly looking for “aspartame” when I read labels. I avoid it like the plague. It is one of the number one substances known to cause Alzheimer’s and other mental illnesses. Protect your memory and look out for this one!
